FrontierView is delighted to announce that we are the recipients of 16 FocusEconomics analyst forecast awards in 2017. This is the second consecutive year that we have been recognized by FocusEconomics as a top macroeconomic forecaster. This achievement demonstrates FrontierView’s capability of delivering extremely high-quality macroeconomic forecasts on a consistent basis.

FocusEconomics is a world-leading consensus forecast provider. They collect, aggregate, and analyze macroeconomic forecasts from hundreds of organizations globally. In the middle of each year, they assess the forecast accuracy for the previous year (the difference between the forecast and the true value) of each organization for half a dozen major macroeconomic indicators and more than 80 markets. For each indicator and market, they then acknowledge three organizations with the most accurate forecasts by giving them the awards. This is the second consecutive year that FocusEconomics has been giving out the Analyst Forecast Awards.

FrontierView analysts conduct forecasts with in-depth macroeconomic research and ever-growing in-market experience. We talk to clients from various industries and regions on a regular basis. It allows us to keep our finger on the pulse of the macroeconomic environment, and produce robust and up-to-date forecasts. At the beginning of each forecasting cycle, FrontierView analysts will gather to discuss the major events happening around the globe, and how they will impact our forecasts. At the end of each forecasting cycle, a strict and thorough quality control is conducted to ensure that the forecasts align with our global view.
